vmplayer shows in ubuntu session but not in xfce session

    Hi guys,

I have been trying to install vmplayer on my ubuntu. To gain more performance I installed xfce session, and do most of my work there.

I followed this link: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VMware/Player and everything goes just fine.

But after installation succesful prompted, I was not able to find the vmware in xfce, however, when I switch back to ubuntu session, it does show up in the software center.

I guess it might have something to do with the repositories? Any help? Thanks in advance.
