Imagemagick installation on a cloud server

I need to install Imagemagick on a cloud server:

apt-get install imagemagickReading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Package imagemagick is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'imagemagick' has no installation candidate

It's in the default repositories. Have you run...
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    first?
