Finding Video Wallpapers

The window manager I use can be configured to display a video as the desktop background/wallpaper. I could search through youtube to find something, but I'm wondering if there's a site dedicated to it, similar to wallbase.cc but for video backgrounds? Since this is unlikely, I'm also looking for individual suggestions. Do you know of or use a good video as your background? (Please, no NSFW)

Also, some videos that might be good candidates: time lapse (city, clouds, flower), camera mounted on eagle, woman in meadow.

Awesomewm. It's a tiling window manager. You basically use mplayer:

Well, on Win7 live wallpapers, or whatever they are called, i made my own clip from a Conspiracy Demo...
I'm assuming one could find one of the many Win7 Dreamscenes (just googled, lol) and convert to ogv, and there you'd have it.

Dont know about the WM your using. But when using the Windows Dreamscape video clips, the WMV files used to eat up CPU resources. But the mpeg files were barely noticeable. Not sure how ogv is, but thought I would throw that out there incase your looking to conserve some resources.

You have two big options to put an video with an wallpaper one method is open mplayer and make this run without window decoration, or with terminal command (please search in web because i never test this form).

But there are a other way programs->

1- AniBG is an program to put some animated video background in your desk.

2- A-Desk (i use this in my remaster of Xubuntu Voyager called TAS) -> see the first seconds of this video i up to youtube-> http://youtu.be/K1fyoXVN8lM - in this case i use A-DESK i put this program on the release of this remaster, its very easy install and run the program you simply needs put a some launcher on your panel, and you can add videos.

Also obviously you can use dreamscenes for windows with background animated videos to down videos visit http://www.dreamscene.org/ .

If you want use and video of youtube for example, is good download the video with youtube-dl tool because many programs like downveter dont convert properly the files and A-desk in some cases cant run the video.
