YUM style fronted for APT?

I was wondering if anyone was aware of a YUM style fronted for apt? I've used both in the past and while I vastly prefer apt, I must admit that YUM is a lot easier to read over SSH! I was wondering if there is a way to combine the two to get the best of both worlds?

Ummmm... the output from aptitude looks *nothing* like the neatly organized output from rpm as shown in th original post.
