    ubuntu MATE - aero snap?

    hi all,

i have recently installed mate as my desktop environment, after getting frustrated with unity. unfortunately the aero snap feature does not work by default, if it is there at all. there seems to be no information on this online anywhere.

it worked from ubuntu 1104 onwards, so i would have expected the fork from gnome to have included it (unless it wasn't a gnome feature...). does anybody know if i can enable it somewhere or if it is not included?

    thanks for reading.

Install compiz-config-settings-manager and enable the grid plugin. This assumes you are using compiz as your window manager, and as I have hardly seen MATE yet, I don't know about any problems of using it with compiz.
