is should be in Downloads or possibly Desktop....to see do this...
and note the uppercase "D" for both directories.
Finding the downloaded package file isn't the issue.

It is finding the path to the installed executable so it can be added to the list of applications launched upon boot.

    /usr/bin/clock

Just installed it , and runs as howefield suggests.

Sorry but.. I cannot stop my self from say that .... It is Ugly

So , check if you installed this app correctly.. I noted that some dependencies were missing.
    Use
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install -f
    to fix them.

    Thanks
ugly, maybe but i am starting to play with ubuntu slowly, conky files and cool looking clock apps are a bit far over my head right now

Well , first of all .. I respect any developer of any application.
This is a matter of taste..
For me , this app is ugly , for other people maybe is beautiful ....
..the sure thing is that fits in Windows 8 (metro style , you know)

Conky is not difficult.. no no .. is very easy to install and conkyrc files are everywhere and ready for use .. the little tricky part for a new user is IF he/she wants to configure- to change - the conkyrc file..

Please let us know if you want to install Conky..

    Thanks

If you run the application from terminal.. is it opens from the first time ?

    Try
    Code:
    clock
    or

    Code:
    /usr/bin/clock
Do you have Ubuntu 12.10 with Unity or some other desktop environment ?

    Thanks

Yes i am running 12.10 with unity , and the clock will not open if i choose r"run in terminal" so i pasted the commands into term and it still didnt open .

when i choose the run option i must hit it twice for the clock to start.
