Samsung Galaxy SII LTE driver issues??

I just got a new Galaxy S2 LTE and have had no luck mounting the devices sd card to my computer. It shows two 5gb devices (the size of my phones internal storage)and I am only briefly able to open the devices folder on my computer when first connected then shortly after it gives me some error message whenever I try to open it.
Everything runs smooth in Windows 7. It automatically downloads the drivers for the device and i can see my device, and inside that folder are my phones internal storage and 32gb SD card.
So not having dealt with driver issues before I was wondering what I can do to fix this issue (or if anything can be done at all). Are there drivers available out there somewhere that might work (and if so how do I install them)?
I hope there is a solution because I'm really not too thrilled about having to use Windows for adding music to my phone.
