How to Update to SuperTuxKart 0.8.0

Hello,

I have been trying to update my SuperTuxKart from 0.7.3 to 0.8.0 but haven't been successful. The version available for download is 64 bit, can I install that on my 32 bit 12.10 Ubuntu? Or do I have to build/compile then newest release? Sorry I'm not to familiar with this sort of thing. Thanks

Until someone builds a 32-bit package I'm afraid yes, your only option in order to play the new version on your computer would be to compile the source code.

There's now an official 32-bit binary available from our website and also the semi-official PPA which has now been updated.
