Do you have many browser tabs open?

I came across this @ mozilla.dev.apps.firefox related to 64-bit Firefox development:

After I announced my decision to disable 64-bit Windows nightlies, there
was significant negative feedback. After reviewing that feedback, and
consulting with Release Engineering, I believe that we can keep a set of
users happy by making a modification to the original plan.

Most importantly, it seems that there are users who regularly run into
the 4GB memory limits of 32-bit builds. These users often have hundreds
or even thousands of tabs. These users are using the 64-bit nightlies
not primarily to be part of our testing community, but because those
builds are the best product available.

I've rarely opened more than twenty tabs and am wondering what sort of usage would require that "users often have hundreds or even thousands of tabs".

My bare minimum "working set" consists of 12 tabs, and in the heat of researching something or trying to diagnose / fix a particularly vexing problem, I've hit 100 open tabs a handful of times before: I leave open those tabs that have any tidbits of information that could possibly lead to progress, and don't close them for fear of having to find them again, until I know for certain I have everything I need.

95 atm, i also have another ff profile with some more tabs

I often end up with ~ 20 tabs after searching something. But then I look at them and realize I don't need 17 of them

What could possibly make you open 95? Don't you fear crashing as mozilla is not multi-process (the only reason I am using chromium)?

Maybe 4 or 5 on a busy day. Normally a couple at a time.

session restore + don't load tabs until selected, my ff never crashes, and i have 12gb ram
i use the tab grouping feature in firefox
forum pages, anime pages, newegg pages, things i was googling
i usually have under 20 active tabs

I generally never have more than 6 or so open.

Normally have around 15 open... Clean it every now and then to around 7 tabs. I don't know how having 100 tabs open is useful. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I normally have 20-30 tabs open. three tabs at minimum.
