Question Start-up disk creator; DVD won't show up under "Disk to use".

I'm trying to burn Ubuntu 13.04 on to a DVD using the Start-up Disk Creator that comes with Ubuntu. For some reason the program won't see my DVD.
I had just the previous day burned Ubuntu 13.04 to another DVD. Both the DVD's were the exact same brand and from the exact same package so it really doesn't make any sense.
Is there any other programs or methods I can use for creating a startup disk or get Startup Disk Creator to see my DVD?

I think startup disk creator is badly named - it is for making bootable USB memory sticks. For burning to a CD or DVD from a .iso image, use the Burn Image option in your favourite CD/DVD burning program. I tend to use xfburn personally, but that's probably because it's the default program with Xubuntu (the desktop I use at the moment). I think Ubuntu uses gnomebaker by default. If you're on Kubuntu, then k3b is your default and is very good.
