    ~cool

I'm on the trot, right now, via free wifi hotspot and my trusty, old Peppermint 4 netbook.

I'll have to play with the young ones, when I get home.

    Yep, working fine here, too.

Looks like we're safe, for another 24 hours...

    * One oddity has cropped up -- extensions keep turning themselves off during boot/restart.

Plus, my custom css files keep getting overwritten to the default settings, even when I didn't upgrade the extension(s).

Maybe I'll try changing the octals to read-only. Something has changed -- can't put a finger on it.

    Weird!

    Re: GNOME3 Staging PPA

This anomalie seems to happen only on the i386 or (32bit) installs?
1 Tower with saucy 32 bit && 1 Laptop 32 32 bit, upon reboot gnome-shell extensions get reset to none.
1 Tower with saucy 64 bit gnome-shell extenions upon reboot are good to go..
Well from a cold boot 7 Hours later no extensions were enabled on the 64 bit ethier.
Just a small deal, I can set them on login!

I'm only running a couple of extensions right now, so I'm enabling them via CLI:

    Code:
    vindsl@Zuul:~$ gnome-shell-extension-tool -e workspace-indicator@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com | gnome-shell-extension-tool -e user-theme@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com
Seems to be the easiest workaround for me.

Another oddity (might be a Thunderbird 24 bug):

When I start a T-bird session, it asks me for some (but not all) of my account passwords, e.g. it's only saving some of the passwords.

    Hrm...
