    Angry Sims 3

I am having a problem with the Sims 3 I have installed it through playonlinux and wine and it loads fine and shows the initial cutscene, but then it has writing in black that I can't read and as soon as I click the check it crashes. I have attached an Image.
    Thank you for your time.

Maybe you should update your graphic's card driver.

    I hope that I've helped.

At least with Crossover 12(which is essentially a slightly changed wine) I never had any problems, apart from the fact I needed to install .net framework 2.0 for the sims 3 start menu to appear(the one which shows your expansions).

I also think it may be a video issue, but it may be something else, know thought which the sims 3 do work fine out-of-box on wine/crossover at least on ubuntu flavors. make sure you also downloaded and updated your the sims 3 game and expansions to the latest version.

I've tried this with two different machines one a laptop and the other a desktop. both are up to date when it comes to the drivers I used the ones in the ubuntu software center.
