    Terminal transparency

I am using Xubuntu 12.04 and I would like to get the default terminal to be transparent of sorts. Everytime I change the preferences of the terminal and make it transparent it shows all the way thru to the desktop instead of the window it's directly above. I would like it like this picture.

You need to open your xfce settings and click on window manager tweaks. There should be a tab that says window compositing, click on that and enable compositing. Doing this enables true transparency
