Exclamation Guake is not reading bashrc file

I have been experimenting Guake in Maverick and I found that the aliases defined in the bashrc file, which worked perfectly in gnome-terminal, are not working. Any ideas on how to make it work?

    Thanks in advance.

Create a file called .profile in your home folder (if it doesn't exist already) and copy the contents of your bashrc in there.
