Askubuntu.com has also taken up a lot of the job of sorting actual technical issues. Tbh the standard of answer you get there is much higher than you get here, so it's become the go-to place for techy problems.

But in reality, I hope it dies out and people come back here.
To be honest, there were times when the forum would become almost unusable during peak hours. I've even complained about it a couple of times in the feedback section.

I think it's quieter as the Unity, Lens, Button, Colour, Wallpaper, dots over the 'i's" haters have moved on.

    Could be many reasons

Buntu getting more mature, so less need for help
People google for answers rather than post

I still browse various Usenet groups daily. Many groups still generate a lot of traffic.

As usual I am late to the party! The amazing ubunteroo has posted a question and I missed it. I am at times untimely.

I am puzzled as to why this friendly little post by ubunterooster was so swiftly shuffled off to the dark and drippy basement of Recurring Discussions. Seems rather odd to me.

Nevertheless, ubunterooster, it is wonderful to hear that you are busy with work and school and doing well. If you are wondering if we missed you (especially your mildly cracked sense of humour), we did, indeed.

And now, once more - just for old times sake - you're banned!

By the way, I'm JC Car on G+ - Drop by and say hi!
