    Exclamation Ubuntu 11.10 Server black screen

    So I am having and issue with my server. I took it offline for a while for general maintenance after installing updates. When I went to reboot the server, right after the system POSTs it stops at a black screen and the monitor says no signal. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated since the server cant suffer any lengthy downtime.
    Shuttle AB48PN, WD Caviar Blue 320Gb, Pentium 4 OC to 3GHz, 2Gb corsair DDR333, Sapphire Radeon HD 4650, Acer 23" LCD monitor, Sparkle 400 Watt PSU.

    Well I got it fixed after a lengthy google search.
