Mount portable HDD and NAS in Ubuntu with UUID

I had a setup for this a while ago, before my compunter chrashed..

Anoyone knows any good instructions for this around the web..

Been Googleing for quite a while.

Hello,

please be some more specific about your intentions.

If you want to have the media attached only to your pc you can configure the mounts using fstab. I you are looking towards sharing over a local network, than you should probably use Samba to setup a sharing server. There is also a GUI for it, which make the setup very easy. Take a look in the software center.
