ACPI: Invalid power resource

Hello,

today I tried to install RR on my main computer.
First, I tried to boot from Live USB, but the system froze on bootup and the following error was shown:
"ACPI: Invalid Power Resource to register!"

Then I thought, ok lets upgrade my 12.10 installation via "do-dist-upgrade -d".
Worked perfectly fine, but when I wanted to reboot, the same error occured again.

My hardware: Asus M2N Sli Delux, Amd 6000+, Geforce 9600gt

You are suffering from the same problem, as documented in this thread.
