    Terms still active after restart

On my Xubuntu 12.04 system if I have one or more apps running in terms & restart the system, the apps don't restart, but the terms do, sized and positioned as they were before the restart. On my Xubunto 12.10 system after a restart the terms are also closed. I like the persistence of size & position I get on 12.04 - is there a way to enable that on 12.10? Thanks...Dave

When you choose logout, there's a popup where you can choose to logout, reboot, shutdown. Below those buttons is a checkbox "Save sessions for future logins". I think that is probably what you want.

Also, there is a "Session and Startup" dialog in your setting manager. I've never fiddled with that, and can't immediately see how to edit session data, but it's there and probably does something.

Excellent! - the checkbox to save sessions was precisely what I needed to do - thanks.
