So I have a 64Gb flash drive that I would like to turn into a stand alone bootable Ubuntu installation. I know how to create the flash drive as just the OS, but what is the easiest way to also create separate partition space on the drive for storage of files I use within Ubuntu on the drive? I have found some guides online, but many are very old, and many involve a lot of hassle. I also did some searching here, so I apologize if I didn't find a redundant thread.
Also, I know there are inherent risks in keeping it all on one flash drive. Is it possible to backup the entire image of a flash drive, different partitions and all, in one easy copy?
Thanks for any help.
