Until the kernel gets fixed though there isn't a lot I can do, and an alpha or beta, won't solve my problem.
I don't know exactly why too. Edubuntu, apart from having some new packages installed, hasn't done much new things between 12.10 release and 13.04 Alpha 1 release. Kubuntu probably has newer features, since it features the latest KDE SC 4.10 Beta. However, you know, Edubuntu and Kubuntu's developers and release teams always like to be "ahead of the queue" and use every resources. So then well.. Anyway at least the images are usable somehow.
As the Ubuntu Studio release manager and a Kubuntu developer, I do a lot of ISO testing and packaging.
Make Ubuntu 13.10 awesome~!
