12.04 Help with configure

Basic install of 12.04. Moved my perl progs to 12.04. Need to use Date::Calc and others.
Downloaded and ran into this. How to fix?


~$ Date-Calc-6.3.tar.gz
~$ sudo tar -xvf Date-Calc-6.3.tar.gz
~$ cd Date-Calc-6.3
:~/Date-Calc-6.3$ ./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
:~/Date-Calc-6.3$
