HDMI on Gazelle question

I'm not sure how to word this exactly so bear with me. I have compiz enabled with the cube. So I have 4 desktops. When I plug the HDMI cable in my desktop displays just fine on the TV. THe strange thing is what desktop on the laptop is not the same displayed on the TV. It seems to be one over.

I did notice that it added 2 extra desktops, odd. Before I go messing with settings just curious if you have any suggestions. It's probably operator error isn't it

It sounds like you have not 'mirrored' displays. If you do not mirror then both monitors make up 'one desktop'.
