    Full Disk Encryption Interface

Hi all. Is there a way to change encryption interface (in Ubuntu 12.10) so that I only have a blank screen when typing my password? Perhaps there is a configuration file to make changes in? Thanks.

What do you mean "blank screen?" You want absolutely nothing to show up on the screen? How would you know when and where to type the password?

Simple workaround- turn your screen off while you're logging in.

Have a look at this blog post, it should allow you to do what you want on initial login, but I'm not sure how to blank the lock screen login.

Thanks. But you don't need to know when and where to type your password: once you get blank screen, you type your password. Anyway, I found help in how to change start up prompt here:

It works meaning that you can insert your custom made message...
