Why cant I post pics in Ebay from system folders??

Ever since I started using linux I can't post pics in Ebay anymore from browsing a system folder on my computer such as MY PICTURES.
Im using chrome-stable,,but I have the same issue with Firefox,,The only option it gives me is using a URL from photo bucket or something like that.This is a real PITA,,please help!!

UPDATE** Well it seems to be working on Firefox now,,but I like chrome for it is a little smoother and faster on this machine...and still not able on chrome??
