As a fan and a user of Ubuntu safely assumed that cast a calm Win 7 install the Ubuntu 12.04 or 12.10. I met disappointment because I can not do it or bad for the taking. I put a plate push F12 choose boot from CD / DVD drive ubuntu starts and everything is ok until a new system partition as it displays an empty table with partitions and try to add a new table or any change causes an error and close the installation program. So is there any possibility to install Ubuntu on the compiling. I know that I could buy the "kompa without Win 7 but I bought because I had to and now I do not need it. Forumowiczów greet and ask for help if you can.

I think the hdd and the ssd are joined together using Intel SRT. Look at this thread and the links in the post by oldfred:

I think that until you break the connection between the hdd and ssd you will not be able to install and they will not show as separate disks.
