    System and Weather Monitor

I have tried conky and Screenlets and they both have errors. Conky keeps refreshing my desktop and Screenlets is just plain slow.

    i agree about screenlets.

    conky, however, works.

there's about a million conky scripts out there and you can't expect it to work out of the box. find a good script and start customizing, meaning: open the config file and adapt the script to your screen. conky has sufficient html documentation in /usr/share/doc/conky-all.

for conky weather, check this guy out.
also there's cool conky stuff on deviantArt, check out this guy for example.

    happy customizing!
