Hi

I bought an inkjet printer and want to get as accurate as possible prints. So I made a printer profile using a ColorMunki Photo and Argyll. (I'm also using a calibrated/profiled monitor, sitting in controlled lighting.)

I loaded the profile in gimp, using the color management settings. Seems to provide a reasonable proofing thought there is a red cast in the printed image.

Now I expected the profile to improve the printed colors, but it actually doesn't. It only provides a print preview! The acutal printed result is the same as without using the profile ! Hmm that isn't what I want: I'd like the colors of the print match my image as much as possible. Not my image match the colors of the print ! ?!?!!?

Can I use the profile some how to improve the color of my prints?
