    Gnome Shell workspaces animation

    Hello.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome Shell, and I'd like to disable the animation that appears when you change between workspaces with shortcuts like Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down. I don't have a clue where this piece of code is, so, could you help me?
Also, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, if it isn't please let me know.

    Thank you in advance!

This extension has an option to remove the work space side bar.

Nice, thanks! But this isn't what I'm looking for. In that extension's page, the second screenshot, you see the animation I'm talking about, telling you on which workspace you are. I'd like to disable it.
