Spotify freezes after a while, very annoying!

The Spotify Linux-client has been working just fine since 12.04 and before, but have recently in the Raring-cycle begun freezing ALWAYS after a while. This is very bad as Spotify is THE music source.

It does exactly the same under Wine, so one wonder what is going on?

There IS a way around the problem, by running Spotifys public beta HTML5-client in a browser, but that is not a satisfying solution imho.

It's clients works perfect under Windows and Android btw, only bad in Linux 3.7+.

All other audio just works in Raring, only Spotify has this problem.

Anyone with a clue why this behaviour has begun, and what can be done?

I reported this bug. Rhythmbox freezes too, also flash hangs.
