operating system not found - wipe disk?

Hello, I'm a complete newbie and this might be a very silly question, but I'll ask anyway as it would be a catastrophe if I mess it up.

I installed the Oracle Virtual Box (didn't realize until now Ubuntu had its own version) and then proceeded to install Ubuntu 2.04.1

Things had gone pretty smoothly in the early going and I was following along in the VB Manual until I came to a screen that scares me:

I'm pretty sure that just means there's no operating system in the disk/partion/container just created, but want to make sure I don't format my whole hard drive or something.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

What's in the software center is not Ubuntu's own version of vBox, just a bit older version. Nothing wrong with getting it from vBox site.

That screenshot is just fine, its looking at the virtual disk and seeing nothing. So just click on continue.

And please use the paper clip to post pic's, your's is really big

Thanks much, ibjsb4! I was hoping that was the case, but I didn't want to risk it.

Sorry about the LARGE screenshot. I'll do better next time.

    Thanks again.

Btw, the installation worked like a charm.

Now I'll have to spend some time learning how to use it.
