How to apply /home theme to /root theme in any app?

    I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

how do I set the theme of any gtk app to be the same across user or root privileges?

e.g. Krusader app has a different theme when I launch in root.

There is some reference I found here ..

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1091102

But I can't get the theme to be the same across /home and /root.

So how do I clone theme settings from /home to /root ?

    I'm playing around with ...
    /home/.gtkrc-2.0 and /home/.gtkrc.mine
    and
    /root/.gtkrc-2.0 and /root/.gtkrc.mine
