VNC Connection Crashes After Copy / Paste

    Hey all,

After a while of the connection being up and working fine, I will hit either ctrl-c or ctrl-v and the connection from my Windows 7 PC to my Ubuntu (12.04) VNC server will crash. It doesn't happen on the first time (copy/paste), but always happens eventually. The only way to get it back is to putty in and restart the server. I have even tried to kill/start the vncserver, to no avail.

I have researched time and time again, and all I come up with are people who had the same issue a year or two ago, but no solutions. Here is one thread for example, detailing what looks to be the exact same problem:

Though others have said using UltraVNC works, I've tried UltraVNC, RealVNC, and tightVNC with no luck.
Anyone still have this problem, or know a solution?

Interesting, just did it on a right-click copy. So, apparently any method of copy/paste, not just ctrl-c / ctrl-v...
