Import Thunderbird address book from W7 to 12.10

I am trying to move from Windows 7 to Ubuntu. I have installed version 12.10 which works fine. I use Thunderbird on W7. Thunderbird works well on Ubuntu 12.10 and automatically displayed my messages from W7.
I need to import my address book into Ubuntu. I have created an export file in the W7 version. I can't find how to import it into Ubuntu 12.10.
I know where my profile file is on W7. Can I some how move it to Ubuntu TB? Help.
My address book is rather large. I will not use Ubuntu without my address book.

In Thunderbird, use Tools > Import and check the Address Book box.
