    Question panp9 memory form factor

Does Pangolin Performance (model 9 is the latest) take DIMM or SODIMM for memory? It's a laptop, so it should take SODIMM, but in the "configure and buy" selection, the thumbnail of memory stick they showed was the longer DIMM, used in desktop computers.

The other details, like 204 pin, 1600mHz, are specified, but not that it's SODIMM. Normally that would be a no brainer, but I just wanted to make sure before telling people to give me inexpensive RAM memory as gifts to accompany my laptop purchase.

https://www.system76.com/laptops/model/panp9 is the location of the confusion. Notice how in the specs it also doesn't say DIMM or SO-DIMM.

Never mind I'm stupid. There is no DIMM RAM with 204 pins, only SO-DIMM. And only DDR3 SO-DIMM at that. Thank you wikipedia I don't know why I didn't see that before.

Yeah, the picutres we have next to the options on the website are generic and not necessarily indicative of the exact part. They're mostly for illustration. All laptops take SO-DIMMs.
