Curious keyboard error ..

If I type the alphabet I get the following, certain keys seem to stick or repeat? It happens when I run from the Bootable CD as well, what gives, borkwesd kweyboarsd?

The keyboard has suddenly started working again ...

Started-up again ... now when I press left-shift I get shift+tab ...
