Question "Suspend" key not mapped for my keyboard--how to map it?

If I run "xev" I can prove that Ubuntu does indeed see my "suspend" key being pressed when I press it. But when I normally hit the suspend key, nothing happens--my computer does not suspend. More specifically, I can suspend my computer fine by running the /etc/acpi/sleep.sh script manually, but I would like to map that script to my suspend key if possible. Any ideas?
