    12.04 Workspace Switcher

I recently installed 12.04. Basic install only, fully updated.
Problem with Workspace Switcher. I usually keep 3-4 internet sessions running at same
time (Version 10.04). Now when I click the icon for a second work space and dbl-clk it
appears to have a second workspace. But when I click Firefox work space one is
displayed and I would be replacing workspace one with new internet session. I want to
switch between 1 and 2 or carried further 1 and 4 etc.
Is this a problem with 12.04 or something else.
    Please help.

Do you mean that you want two instances of firefox running in different desktops?

    If so:

    1) Start firefox.
    2) Switch to a different desktop.
    3) Right click the firefox icon in the launcher.
    4) Click "Open a New Window"
    5) use the desktop switcher to change between desktops.

This was exactly what I needed. A big thanks JRV.
Again so much work for something simple.
