    one monitor does not work

    Hello and Good day

I have a problem of one monitor not working. I am running a dual boot, dual monitor system

    geforce gt 520 graphics card
    Ubuntu 12.04
    2 acer p221w monitors

I am using windows 7 on the other side of the dual boot. In windows, both monitors are using the same driver.

When in window, both monitors work fine, although one reads as a generic non-pnp monitor.

When I switch to Ubuntu, one monitor does not work. When I search for and load the Nvidia drivers, the display reads as a laptop.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks
    Jeff
