How do I create a Nintendo 3DS compatible access point on Ubuntu 12.04?
I have always had trouble finding an access point that works with my 3DS, and I thought that I had solved that problem with Ubuntu 12.04. However, no matter what I try, I cannot create an access point that works with my 3DS. My 3DS found it once, but was unable to connect to it.
What I want to do is make my laptop's wireless card act like a router, so that whenever it is connected to the internet via a wired internet connection, my 3DS can access the internet through my laptop's wireless card.
I know that I can just select my wireless card in the system settings and click "Use as Hotspot", but that won't work with my 3DS.
