    Kickstarter: Strike suit zero

    This looks like an amazing kickstarter for mech/space combat addicts! they have announced a Mac/Linux client! Just a bit more funding!

    They need to hit $180,000 to get a Mac and Linux version, right now they're at $151,248.

    Yeah that's true! Im probably going to play this game reguardless if they get 180k or not but I really hope that they will reach the goal!
    Mac/Linux client would be sweet!

    From the comment section on kickstarter, semes like the funding for linux/mac requirement was reched

    EY! I just noticed that we definitely made it to $180K with PayPal!! There are (at least) 2 backers at the CAG ($600/ea), 5 backers at the Commodore ($500/ea), and 23 Fleet Conductors ($250/ea), summing to at least $9450! $172583 + $9450 = $182033!

    LINUX AND MAC ARE HERE! Go tell everyone, only 3 hours left!
    So hopefully another awesome game will be coming in the near future to Linux

    The creator also said this before the Kickstarter ended:

    @Christian (and others who have asked) if we don't hit 180k, we'll still push to do a Mac / Linux version, we'll just have to go about it a different way. It's something we're very keen to do.
    @Michele yeah, the PayPal total will absolutely contribute towards to the total
    @gcala -- we'll be sharing an official release date for the game VERY soon, but that won't include Mac and Linux for the time being. We'll have to see how things proceed on that front.
    As the game runs on our proprietary engine, we'll need to convert it to OpenGL in order to bring Mac / Linux. Obviously we'l update on this accordingly based on how things go.
