Remove/blacklist programs from my Notification Panel?

    Hi,

I'm not a huge fan of Spotify and Xpad appearing in my notification area, as I have no use for them there. Can I prevent these from showing somehow?

You can hide any notification area item. Right-click on a panel -> Panel -> Panel Preferences -> Items -> Notification area -> Edit button. You can then check which item you want to hide.

You can also reach the notification area preferences by right-clicking it, if you have good aim and can find an area that is not handled by an item. The area right next to the screen border can usually pop up the right menu

    Cheers!
