PSN psone games: PSP and PS3

Hi I'd like to know if I buy Silent Hill for my psp can I get it for my PS3 for "free"? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you can, as long as you buy it on the same PSN account that's on both consoles. I haven't bought any PSone Classics, but I bought Angry birds, a "minis" game, that works on PS3 and PSP, and I could install it on both.

I think if you have a PSN account like doorknob60 mentioned then you should be fine.

Yes, any PS1 games you buy on the PSN can be played both on your PSP and PS3 provided you use the same account (actually IIRC you have to buy them on a PS3 and transfer them over to your PSP which is counted as one of your registered devices for your PSN account).
