Nvidia driver for Geforce GTX 560 on 12.04

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with the Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 with Ubuntu 12.04? Will it work without problems? I'm planning on buying a pc with a GTX560 and I'd like to know for sure.
I did quite a bit of searching and I found some mentions of bugs in newer versions of the drivers and some problems with the driver and the kernel in 12.10.

    Many thanks in advance

Looks like it should be fine.

Thanks for the link. I'm just gonna assume it works ok. But considering the amount of times I've read about weird flickering or other kinds of problems with Unity I still am a bit hesitant.

I have the same gpu in an asrock z77 extreme 4 board and I had issues at first. I thank that was partly because of the newness of my system. But after you do the updates and the additional drivers it should do awesome. I was very happy with my graphics.
