Bluetooth won't turn on - Lemur Ultra

I purchased a System76 Lemur Ultra just before 12.10 came out. I upgraded to 12.10 when it came out and I didn't really set anything up in 12.04 because I knew I'd be upgrading. Well I just now needed to print something (shows how often I print) and I went to set it up but I can't turn on the bluetooth. I've lost my cable and I have a Canon MP520 with a bluetooth dongle. I've had the printer for years. Worked with my old macbook pro and my Alienware M14x R1 running 12.04. When I go into System Settings and then the bluetooth section, everything is greyed out and I can't turn anything on. It's been driving me nuts and I can't figure out what to do to make everything work.

Try pressing: Fn + F12 keys

It should toggle Bluetooth on & off.
