Resized desktop icons have a border

Hi

If I resize icons on the desktop above a certain point they acquire a solid border. Any one else getting this?

I don't normally run desktop icons, but...

I turned them on, and made the "trash" icon as big as it would go.

No border... just normal shading.

Are you using transparent icons?!?!?

I do not notice anything either.
