I've had this computer for about a year, and it's worked well until the last time I turned it on after it had been off and unplugged for a couple weeks while we had storms in the area (not related to Sandy, just ordinary thunder storms).
What's happening is that I'll be using it and suddenly the screen goes black and the computer seems to shut down, except that the red secondary power light is on, so it's not a complete power failure. I can hear a small click from the box and a faint humming when this happens. To restart it, I have to hold the power button for five seconds, and then turn it back on.
