PPA for Eclipse?

Does anyone know of a PPA for the latest version of Eclipse?

I can download the 'linux' tar-ball version and run it okay (other than its icon doesn't integrate nicely into the Unity dock)... but with the version included in Ubuntu releases tied to Debian, which even for Sid tends to lag behind some... I thought there must be a PPA for Eclipse out there that would do a little better job of integrating into the doc and keeping up with the latest releases.

Aside From the icon, do you experience and problems with the one from the site?

I would suggest to just use that one. Its up-to-date and official. A PPA would just be a wrapper around that one anyway...

No other problems, as of yet. I would however, prefer to have something managed via the same package manager as the rest of the system and updated automatically as updates came out, rather than having to go hunt down fresh tar-balls. A minor nit, but there it is.

Understandable... if it helps you can update Eclipse from within Eclipse...

Any ideas/suggestions for how to get the right icon in the Unity Dock?

They have worked well for me for several versions of eclipse and ubuntu.
