Unetbooting ruined my HDD please help

I was trying to use unetbootin to install an iso to a flash drive, but I forgot to set the drive number at the bottom, so it installed to my main drive with 12.10 on it... Now when I try to boot I just get the unetbootin menu but I can't boot my previous install... Is there any way to recover from this?

If you have rewritten your HDD with unetbootin I am afraid you lost your files. However if you had only corrupted Grub menu, then this can be repaired with Boot repair.

    Regards.

Oh well... Its strange that the program could partition the hard drive while the OS is running...Luckily it wasn't my main computer.
