    TF2
    Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86_64
    Nvidia Driver: 310.14
    Nvidia Card: GTS 450
    Linux Kernel: 3.2.0-34-generic

I have noticed infrequently TF2 will have severe font corruption issues, random characters are just not visible, nothing in the chat box is visible etc...

    Any one else see this?

    Re: STEAM on Linux BETA

I have had a couple of graphics hiccups, thus far nothing majors and nothing that seems repeatable consistently.

But with every update things get better and better at least

Caught some screenshots of the fonts gone bad, it only happens every now and then.

Last update. Latest STEAM update has made TF2 even better. I would say close to "Windows" like performance (if this means anything). Went back to using AMD BETA 11 Driver. So far NO issues.

AMD 12.11 beta 64-bit user here. TF2 runs equally fast on Windows and Linux.

    Re: STEAM on Linux BETA

Just installed the open beta of Steam for Linux, and bought 'World of Goo' as a starting point for game play.

So far it works nicely, and is a boatload of fun to boot.

This is a happy day for Linux!!!!
